Week 2 May 2025 Training Highlight:

Equipping Educators and Industry with Future-Ready Skills

8th May 2025

This week at Peninsula Skills, we had the privilege of hosting two impactful training programmes simultaneously at The Ship Campus, Batu Kawan, reflecting our commitment to advancing technical excellence in both education and industry.

From 6th to 8th May 2025, we welcomed:

🔹 Lecturers from Institut Kemahiran Tinggi Belia Negara (IKTBN) under the Ministry of Youth & Sports for a 3-day training on OMRON PLC Programming and Applications. The hands-on sessions focused on PLC hardware configuration, programming with CX-Programmer software, and mastering key functions such as timers, counters, and internal relays—bridging academic understanding with industrial practice.

🔹 Employees from LAM Research for an IoT introductory programme titled “Getting Started with IoT: Exploring XDK110 Sensors and Connectivity”. Participants explored the integration of sensors, connectivity protocols, and real-world applications—laying the foundation for smarter, more connected industrial systems.

Both sessions were designed to foster practical learning, critical thinking, and skills transfer that align with Industry 4.0 demands.

At Peninsula Skills, we continue to support the upskilling of Malaysia’s workforce—empowering both educators and professionals with training that matters.
